"Oh goodness..."

Among overflowing sinks, insulting patients, and the traffic of Omaha, Allen and I have almost navigated our first week.  Sigh....

It hasn't been bad, not at all.  Actually, I'd probably call it a good week.  But its been forever long.  I think I can't get used to changing time zones.  I'm exhausted by 9:00.  The drive for both me and Allen is long, especially when I accidentally take Allen's truck keys and drive 10 miles through the traffic about 10 minutes before he has to leave for work....he called a cab.

Today I was supposed to come home and relax an hour or two before he got off work.  This is what I found:

The week hasn't been bad...it couldn't be, I passed boards!  Allen got offered a job! ....... I think I'm just numb.  Too much has happened too quickly.  Hopefully life will even out and be normal again soon.  Although Allen says our life has never been normal. ;)  Maybe not?
